Agrotourism – Aloe & Cheese – Every Friday

We will start the excursion in the rural area of Tijoco Alto, visiting a traditional Canarian cheese farm where you will learn how goats and sheep are cared for, how fresh milk is produced, and how it is transformed into award-winning artisanal cheeses. You will see the cheese-making process and enjoy a tasting of different varieties.

We then continue to Arona, where we visit an aloe vera farm and learn about this traditional plant, its cultivation, and its many natural uses. You will also see how aloe vera is harvested and have the opportunity to taste its natural pulp and discover related products.

End time: before 1:00 pm

Agrotourism – Bananas & Wines – Every Tuesday

Begin your excursion with a visit to a banana farm, where you will learn about traditional cultivation, the history of gofio, and enjoy tastings of local products and tropical fruits.

Continue to the Mirador de la Centinela for a stop to discover the island’s volcanic landscape.

The tour then heads up to over 1,200 meters in altitude to visit a local winery, where you will learn about the winemaking process and enjoy a tasting of five wines paired with local products, before returning to your hotel.
