We will start our excursion in the northern part of Tenerife, towards the historic city of La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It was the first colonial city without walls, preserving its original 15th-century layout virtually intact. Here, we will explore the city’s most significant and picturesque places, including Plaza del Adelantado, the Church of the Holy Christ of La Laguna, the Cristo Market, the old town, and the Bishop’s Palace.
Next, we will head to Mount Las Mercedes, passing through laurel forests that lead to the village of Taganana. This village maintains the customs and traditional architecture of the island, framed by beaches and rocky formations emerging from the sea just meters from the coast.
We will continue towards the San Andrés Fishing District, and after crossing the highway, we will reach the city center of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island. It’s a cosmopolitan, fascinating, cheerful, and luminous city. You’ll have free time to explore its most iconic spots, such as Plaza de España, Plaza de La Candelaria, and Calle Castillo.
Once our visit is complete, we will return north via the highway to Puerto de la Cruz.
