This excursion will depart from the Port of Los Cristianos – Tenerife, taking the ferry to San Sebastián de la Gomera, the port, and capital of the island.
Once at this point, we will begin our ascent to the Garajonay National Park, a true paradise of laurel forests, a natural reserve, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will make a stop at the Degollada de Peraza viewpoint, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views that the island offers.
We will continue the journey, passing through La Palmita and entering directly into the Garajonay National Park, until we reach the small villages of Las Rosas and Agulo.
In these villages, you will have free time for lunch at a typical Gomeran restaurant, where there will be a live demonstration of the well-known Silbo Gomero, a unique method of communication. If time allows, we will visit the Visitor Center, where you will have the opportunity to experience the Game of Balls.
We will return through the Hermigua Valley to San Sebastián, where you can see the historical reminders of Christopher Columbus’ passage before his departure to the American Continent, including the Torre del Conde and the Casa de Colón.
