Siam Park at night Tenerife

Siam Nights

TL;DR Siam Park at night Tenerife – known as Siam Nights – runs every July and August, Tuesday to Saturday, from 8 pm to midnight. It turns the world’s number-one waterpark into something completely different: live DJs, laser shows, flamethrowers, bars, food and almost every big ride running under the stars. Tickets are 48 euros, cheaper than a daytime visit, and honestly, it is one of the best nights out in Tenerife, full stop. I have been going since it started, and 2026 has been the best year yet.

Siam Park at night Tenerife is one of those summer experiences that feels completely different from a standard water park day. If you like the idea of riding famous slides after sunset, enjoying cooler temperatures, hearing DJ music around the wave pool and getting more done in less time, this is well worth looking at.

It is especially good for anyone visiting in July or August who wants something a bit different from the usual beach, boat trip Tenerife or Teide tour. You still get the big rides, the tropical setting and the buzz of Siam Park, but with a more relaxed evening atmosphere and, on the right night, much shorter queues.

What is new for 2026

I went down to the opening night of Siam Nights 2026 to bring you all the latest info, and they have upped their game again. Here is what is new this year:

  • A brand new show kicks off at 10:00 pm down on the wave pool beach. Do not miss it, it is a proper highlight.
  • Tickets are 48 euros this year, and the twin day and night ticket is 78 euros, saving you 18 euros per person.
  • The wave pool goes off three times a night at 8:40, 9:40 and 10:40. Write those down, you do not want to miss them.
  • New lasers and flame effects at the Tower of Power, plus a lovely new light-up photo sign right as you walk in.
  • The DJ setup has moved to the other end of the wave pool beach compared to last year, and the whole atmosphere feels bigger.

What is Siam Park at night Tenerife?

Siam Park at night Tenerife is the park’s special summer evening event, running only in July and August. Instead of a full daytime session, the park opens from 8:00 pm to midnight, giving you four hours to enjoy the main attractions after dark.

It usually runs Tuesday to Saturday. Sunday and Monday are off. That limited schedule is part of what makes it feel a bit more special.

The whole place takes on a different feel once the sun starts to drop. There is a golden hour period at the beginning, then the park gradually changes into a lit-up night event with:

  • DJ music around the beach area
  • Lasers and lighting effects
  • Bars and food outlets open
  • Main slides running in the dark
  • A more party-style atmosphere, but not necessarily rowdy

It is still Siam Park, just with a summer night twist. And this year they have added a new show at 10:00 pm on the beach that really kicks the night off, so make sure you are there for it.

When Siam Park at night Tenerife is at its best

One of the biggest points in favour of Siam Park at night Tenerife is timing. Early in the season, especially on the first nights after it starts, it can feel surprisingly quiet. As summer goes on and August gets busier, that may change.

If you are choosing dates, it is worth bearing in mind that:

  • July can be a better bet for lower crowds
  • August tends to be busier
  • Getting to the gates for 7:00 pm gives you the best chance to make the most of it, because there is a bit of a rush to get in at 8:00 pm
  • From around 11:00 pm onwards, plenty of people start heading out, so the last hour can be very productive too

A lot of people seem to wait until it is fully dark before entering, but that is not always the smartest move. If you arrive right at opening time, you can get a good number of rides done while everyone else is still filtering in. It does not go fully dark until about half 9 in the summer, so those first ninety minutes are your window to hit the big slides while it is quieter.

The atmosphere at night

This is where Siam Park at night Tenerife really earns its reputation. The music is livelier than during the day, but it does not have to feel over the top. The beach area becomes the social hub, with DJs, cocktails, lights and a more festival-style setup than you get on a normal park day.

Over the years, more has been added to the event. It is not just a token late opening anymore. There are extra lighting details, more visual effects, chill-out spaces and a stronger entertainment setup around the wave pool. This year the DJ has moved to the far end of the beach, and honestly, atmosphere-wise, buzz-wise and music-wise, this has been my favourite year yet.

One thing people never talk about is the smell. They burn incense all around the park of an evening, which I reckon doubles as a bit of a bug repellent, but it makes the whole place smell gorgeous. It is a little detail, but along with the dark and the lights it all adds to that different feel.

The nice thing is that it still feels balanced. You can:

  • Go all-in on the slides
  • Spend time at the wave pool and beach
  • Have a couple of drinks
  • Take it easy and soak up the atmosphere

So if you are not desperate to do every single ride, you can still enjoy the evening just by wandering, swimming, sitting on the sand and taking in the whole look of the place once the lights come on. On the opening night I did not do a single slide, and I still had an amazing time just soaking it all up.

A quick tip on the wave pool: the waves go off three times a night, at 8:40, 9:40 and 10:40, for about 20 minutes each time. Do not miss them, everyone piles in and throws the water about, and it is one of the best bits of the night.

Siam Park at night Atmosphere

Why the rides feel different at night

If you have already done Siam Park in the daytime, Siam Park at night Tenerife can feel like doing a different park entirely.

The biggest reason is simple. In the dark, you often cannot properly see where you are going. That makes familiar slides feel new again. Your belly goes a lot more when you cannot see the next drop coming.

Even people who know the park well tend to say the same thing: a slide you have done loads of times in daylight suddenly feels faster, stranger and more exciting once the light drops.

Some attractions are especially good after sunset:

Ride Why it is great after dark
Singha One to prioritise. The experience is stronger and the route feels far more dramatic in the dark. One of my favourites at night.
Kinnaree Another one I love in the dark. You genuinely do not know where you are going, which makes it brilliant.
Dragon Still a favourite for many, especially if you like the multi-person ring rides. Even better after dark.
Tower of Power The bragging rights one. This year they have got lasers and flames going off as you come down, so it is more of a spectacle than ever. Do it early though, the queue is slow because it is one at a time.

Siam Park at Night Slide

My top tip is to hit the big popular slides early on while it is a little quieter, then go back and do your absolute favourites again once it is properly dark. That way you get them in without much of a wait, and you still get the full nighttime experience on the ones you love most. A quick note on the water too: the wave pool and most slides are heated to 24 degrees, so it is lovely and warm. It can feel a touch cool between slides, so a rash vest or t-shirt sorts that if you feel it. No one is walking around shivering, put it that way.

Are all the rides open?

For the most part, yes. The main big attractions are open during Siam Park at night Tenerife.

The exception is the kids areas. The Lost City, the splash zones and anything aimed at the younger ones are closed of an evening, because it is dark and it is not really suitable or safe for the little ones after hours. So if you have got young kids, bear that in mind. The big slides most people come for are all running, so it is not a watered-down version of the park at all.

Also worth knowing, and it catches people out: there is no Fast Pass at night. Even though you might see it advertised, that is a daytime thing. You do not need it though, which brings us on to queues.

Queues and whether you need a fast pass

This is a big one when deciding if Siam Park at night Tenerife is worth it.

In the daytime during peak season, Siam Park can be extremely busy. That often means long waits and, for some people, paying extra for a fast pass just to make the day manageable.

At night, the picture can be very different.

When crowd levels are good, many rides can be close to walk-on or at least far quicker than daytime waits. And as I mentioned, there is no Fast Pass on the nights anyway, so everyone is in the same boat, and it just is not needed.

Yes, the session is shorter at four hours. But if queues are much lower, you can often get more done than you would expect.

That is really the trade-off:

  • Daytime gives you more total hours
  • Night-time can give you better value per hour if queues are short

Tickets and the best value option

As covered on the official Siam Night booking page, the event includes your QR entry ticket and access to the free bus service from key resort areas in the south. A night ticket is 48 euros, and the price is the same everywhere you look, so there is no bargain-hunting to do on the price itself. What you want is a flexible ticket you can scan in on any night it is on.

There are a few ways to approach it:

  • Night ticket only at 48 euros if you just want the evening experience
  • Twin ticket (Siam Day & Night) at 78 euros if you want both day and night, saving you 18 euros per person
  • Annual pass if you come to Tenerife often and expect to visit more than once

The twin ticket is often the smartest option. It gives you a daytime visit and a night-time visit, and you do not have to use them on the same day. You can do Siam in the day on a Monday and Siam Nights on a Saturday, it does not matter, the tickets are flexible and you turn up to either one first. I do recommend doing both, because the slides at night are totally different to the day, it is a completely different feel.

If you do both, the best order is usually:

  1. Go in the daytime first
  2. Then do Siam Park at night Tenerife afterwards

That way you get the full standard experience first, then enjoy the novelty of seeing it transformed after dark.

One last thing on tickets, and it is the big one: get them in advance. On the night there were loads of people queuing up to buy tickets at the gate, and that line moves a lot slower than the pre-bought queue. No one likes standing in a queue to start the night, so sort your tickets before you go and walk straight in.

Food, drinks and what things cost

One of the handiest tips is that you can usually bring your own soft drinks, sandwiches and snacks, as long as you are sensible about it. Glass bottles are not allowed, and neither is your own alcohol, so do not expect to walk in with a huge cooler bag. They do check your bags on the way in, which actually feels nice and safe.

That can save a decent bit of money, because food and drink inside are theme park prices.

There is plenty of hot food, which is what you want of an evening. In the main beach club restaurant you have got:

  • Hot dogs, burgers and nuggets
  • Rotisserie and grilled chicken, even Kentucky fried chicken
  • Salads, fruit bowls and poke bowls, around 9 euros for a tofu poke bowl
  • Cocktails at about 12 euros, plus slush drinks, beers and soft drinks
  • Ice creams, milkshakes, cakes and bubble waffles over at Sweet Siam

You grab a tray, get what you want and pay at the exit. A soft drink is around 3 euros and a can of beer around 4.50 euros, which is exactly why bringing your own soft drinks and water in is a good shout. It is hot and you are running around, so it is easy to get dehydrated, get some water in you.

If you fancy a treat, the spaghetti ice cream at Sweet Siam is 7 euros and it is gorgeous, they push Ben and Jerry’s through a machine so it comes out like soft spaghetti with sauce on top. Paying the price a little, but worth it.

A note on alcohol and smoking

You can enjoy a couple of drinks, but this is not the sort of event where getting heavily drunk is going to fly. Security can be stricter at night, and if someone is clearly overdoing it, they can be removed.

So think cocktails and chilled beach bar vibe, not all-out party chaos.

One more thing worth knowing: if you are a smoker or you vape, you have to do it in the Thai bar area. You cannot just do it wherever you fancy around the park. The Thai bar is a nice quiet spot for a chill anyway, and it has got sandwiches and bubble waffles if you want them.

Lockers, towels, shoes and costs at a glance

For Siam Park at night Tenerife, lockers and extras can add up, so it helps to know the rough costs before you arrive.

Item Approx. price
Small locker €7
Large locker €10
Parking €7
Cocktail ~€12
Beer €4.50
Soft drink ~€3
Spaghetti ice cream €7
Towel Buy or hire on site

A small locker is usually enough for most people if you are only storing valuables and a bag. A small one fits a full rucksack anyway, so I would not bother with the big one, just pop your valuables in and you are fine.

One tip on the lockers: skip the ones you pass in the middle on the way in, and use the ones right at the wave pool beach instead. That is where you want to set up camp for the night anyway, near the DJ, the food and the action, so keep your locker there too.

Important warning about footwear

This is worth taking seriously. Shoes and sliders can go missing. If you leave expensive footwear lying around, there is a risk it may not be there when you come back.

Best advice:

  • Do not bring expensive sliders
  • Buy cheap water shoes before your holiday
  • Keep anything valuable in a locker

Money-saving and booking tips

If you want to do Siam Nights without overspending and make the most of your evening, these are the tips worth remembering:

  • Get your tickets in advance so you skip the slow ticket-buying queue at the gate.
  • Bring your own food and soft drinks where allowed (no glass, no alcohol).
  • Buy water shoes before you arrive rather than paying park prices.
  • You do not need a fast pass at night, there is not one anyway and queues are lower.
  • Use the free bus service if you are staying in the south, it runs from 7:00 pm every 30 minutes.
  • Consider the twin day and night ticket to save 18 euros per person.
  • Book early if you are travelling in peak summer.
  • Get to the gates for 7:00 pm rather than waiting for full darkness.
  • Do the big rides first, then enjoy the beach and music later.
  • Do not miss the 10:00 pm show or the wave pool at 8:40, 9:40 and 10:40.
  • Stay until close if you still have energy, as the last half hour turns into a proper party on the beach.

If you are planning more attraction days, it is also worth browsing other theme parks in Tenerife so you can compare what suits your trip best.

Getting there and transport

Siam Park is in Costa Adeje, in the south of Tenerife, and it is easy to reach from the main resort areas.

You have got three ways to get there. There is a free bus service that runs when the night event is on, starting at 7:00 pm and going every 30 minutes, with pick-ups in:

  • Los Cristianos
  • Playa de las Américas
  • Costa Adeje

Bear in mind the bus gets you there for about 8:00 pm, right in the rush. So if you want to beat the queue, it might be worth jumping in a taxi and getting down for 7:00 pm instead. If you are driving, the park is well signposted, uses the main motorway exits 28 and 29, and parking is 7 euros right by the entrance, which is not bad at all.

One heads-up for the way home: taxis can get busy when the event finishes at midnight, so that can be tricky to sort. Worth having a think about how you are getting back before you go. There are also showers, changing rooms and lockers on site, which helps if you want to freshen up before heading back to your hotel or out for the rest of the evening.

What to bring for Siam Park at night Tenerife

Because this is an evening event, what you pack should be slightly different from a daytime water park bag.

  • Swimwear
  • Towel
  • Cheap sliders or water shoes, or flip-flops for walking about
  • A change of clothes
  • Something light to wear afterwards if you feel the cold
  • Phone payment or card, and your tickets on your phone ready to scan
  • Any snacks and soft drinks you plan to bring in (no glass, no alcohol)

One particularly good tip is to bring a dry change of clothes for the end of the night. Even in warm weather, once you have been on slides repeatedly and the evening gets later, you can start to feel chilly.

Who this is perfect for

Siam Park at night Tenerife is especially good for:

  • People visiting in July or August who want a unique summer-only experience
  • Anyone who struggles with the heat and prefers cooler temperatures
  • Returning visitors who have already done Siam Park by day
  • Couples and groups of friends looking for a fun evening activity
  • Families, as children are allowed, though under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, and note the kids splash areas are closed at night

It is also a great shout if you like Tenerife excursions that feel a little different from the usual daytime routine.

Is Siam Park at night Tenerife worth it?

In short, yes, especially if your expectations are in the right place.

If you want maximum hours in the park and full sunshine all day, the regular daytime ticket may still suit you better.

But if you want:

  • Shorter queues
  • Cooler temperatures
  • A more atmospheric setting
  • DJ music and lighting effects
  • The novelty of doing famous rides in the dark

then Siam Park at night Tenerife is absolutely worth considering. They keep elevating it every single year, and 2026 has honestly been the best one yet for atmosphere.

For many people, the ideal answer is not day or night. It is doing both with a twin ticket. That gives you the full daytime version and then the more unusual summer night experience as well.
